Air Filtration/Evacuation and Scrap Collection

The scrap collection trays are divided into separate areas each with a separate clean-out door. Running along side the trays is a 12" Evacuation duct connected to the scrap collection tray via electrically activated pneumatic doors which open only the active chamber for smoke evacuation. This minimizes limits the volume flow requirement and allows for an 80% smaller and much less costly dust collection system. It is activated by micro switches, which open and close the doors as required as the cutting torch moves.

3D can provide an AER Control System Cartridge Collector sized to the table, which will eliminate the large quantity of gaseous metal smoke, which is produced during the cutting process. With the Air Filtration System your table will meet all EPA Clean Air requirements. Since the system recirculates the air no heat will be removed from the building during the winter heating season.

3D can perform site survey and provide a bid for installation of the AER Dust Collector and the ductwork to connect it to the Plasma Cutting Table or the Dust Collector can be provided as a turnkey operation with the customer installing the collector and ductwork.
